Fayez Sirsawi was born in Gaza in 1961. He graduated from the sculpture department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University In Istanbul in 1986. He worked teaching in the UNRWA schools in Gaza and in the UNRWA Women Training Center in Ramallah. He founded and supervised the visual art program at the YMCA in Gaza. Since 1994, he has been working at the Palestinian Ministry of Culture. He participated in several exhibitions in Palestine and abroad with his paintings and sculptures. He created a number of memorial monuments and murals in Gaza, Haifa, and China. Some of his works are part of international and local collections. Sirsawi lives and works in Gaza.

Sana Bishara was born in Nazareth in 1964. She graduated from the Neri Bloomfield Academy of Design and Education in Haifa in 1985, and she obtained a BA in Fine Arts and Sociology from the University of Haifa, followed by a degree in Museology.
Bishara is one of the most prominent Palestinian artists producing bronze sculptures today. Her work revolves around the figure of the woman; her sculptures are delicately cast with simple, balanced shapes that invite contemplation when viewed. She is best known for her multi-piece sculptures from which the viewer can sense an evolving narrative.
Bishara has taught art at a number of schools and community centers and has served as the Director of Art Education for Arab Schools at the Janco Dada Museum, Ein Hod. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions locally and internationally. Many of her sculptures are installed in both public spaces as well as private collections. She won an honorary prize for Haifa artists in 2000 and the Herman Struck Prize from the city of Haifa in 2007.

Durar Bacri was born in Acre in 1982 and graduated with a BFA degree from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem in 2006. Durar has participated in many local and international exhibitions; his solo exhibition “Escalation” at Sakakini Cultural Center in Ramallah is the artist’s first encounter with audiences in the West Bank. Durar’s works shed light on humanity during the last war on Gaza (2014). It is a shout-out and a tribute to all the people who struggle to survive and who find beauty in even the worst tragedies. Bacri lives and works in occupied Palestine.
