Malik Abu Salameh is a Palestinian artist born in Bethlehem in 1998, he graduated from Dar Al-Kalima University in 2021 with a major in Fine Arts. His artistic production mainly relies on oil painting, in addition to sculpture, installation, and digital drawings. During his studies, he participated in a number of community art projects in cooperation with the Beit Sahour Municipality.

His works were displayed in a group exhibition at the Yabous Foundation in Jerusalem in 2022. He also worked with a group of Italian restoration artists on a project to restore icons from the Monastery of the Closed Paradise in the town of Artas in 2022. Abu Salameh’s current works focus on reproducing his childhood memories, which range from sometimes blurry details to sometimes clear ones, in an impressionistic style that blends his own memory with family narratives.
