Issam Al-Haj Ibrahim, born and raised in Dubai, UAE, is a distinguished visual artist and Creative Director at Artisan Marketing and Advertising. He pursued higher education in architectural engineering, graphic design, and marketing & advertising in Beirut, Lebanon, completing his studies in 2007. His diverse educational background has significantly influenced his approach to art and business.

Upon returning to Dubai, Issam founded Artisan Marketing and Advertising, wanting to merge his two passions together, he combined his artistic vision with his expertise in marketing. Specializing in Surrealist and Modern Art, he has established a notable presence in the art world. His work has been featured in prominent venues, including the Arab Cultural Club in Beirut and World Art Dubai in 2021. Additionally, some of his pieces are showcased at Zawyeh Gallery in Dubai, reflecting his growing influence in the regional art scene.

His works usually consist of political statements, commentating on the effects of war and occupation. He highlights ongoing issues, and hopes to have his art be a symbol of resistance and support.

Issam’s contributions to the art community have been recognized with several accolades. In 1996, he was honored with both the 1st and 4th awards in mural painting at an event in Sharjah, UAE, showcasing his early talent and dedication. More recently, he earned a Certificate of Participation at World Art Dubai in 2021, further cementing his reputation as a significant contemporary artist. He also received a Certificate of Participation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Beirut in 2006, highlighting his commitment to using art for social impact.
