Ola Zaitoun was born in Qana village in Galilee in 1988. She received her first degree in Psychology and Multiple Studies, including criminology and women’s studies, from Haifa University in 2012. She received her second degree in visual arts from Haifa University in 2017. Zaitoun teaches art to children of different ages at Ufuq College in Kufr Manda. She participated in several group exhibitions and won the third prize in the Young Artist of the Year Award organized by A M Qattan Foundation in Ramallah in 2018. Zaitoun also received the “Lottery” grant for Visual Arts in 2019. Currently, she is studying heritage renovation and documentation at Dar Al-Kalima College in Bethlehem.
