Jafar Dajani, born in Amman, Jordan, in 1977, has always harbored a deep passion for art and design. Wanting to pursue a career in the arts, he worked towards getting his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the UK, followed by a Master’s degree in Interior Design. These qualifications allowed him to continue towards a successful career in design, allowing him to merge his artistic passions with his professional experience.
Dajani’s career spans several varying positions in the design industry. He has worked with prominent firms including Dar Al Handasah in Cairo, Consolidated Consultants/Jafar Tukan & Partners in Amman, and Depa Interiors in Dubai. Each role contributed to his growth as a designer and expanded his experience in handling a variety of artistic projects.
In 2013, Dajani established his own design practice in Dubai, where he focuses primarily on residential projects. His design philosophy emphasizes creating bespoke and timeless refined living spaces. Alongside his core work, Dajani occasionally indulges in painting and custom furniture design, integrating these elements into his projects to enhance their uniqueness, further expanding his career.
In 2024, he participated in the “Posters for Gaza” exhibition at Zawyeh Gallery in Dubai, which focused on themes related to the Palestinian cause, history, and occupation. Through his poster, he aims to raise awareness of social and political issues.
His innovative designs have been prominently showcased at notable events such as Amman Design Week and Design Days Dubai. Additionally, he has participated in several group exhibitions organized by Architectural Digest Middle East. Dajani’s exceptional work has earned him a place in the AD Top 50 list for three consecutive years, a testament to his significant impact and recognition in the field of design.
Through his practice and creative endeavors, Jafar Dajani continues to make a mark in the design world, blending his own artistic vision with practical application to deliver unique and impactful designs.
