Fadi Batrice is a Palestinian artist and art educator based in Nazareth. He studied fine art at Haifa University and obtained a BA from Dar al-Kalima College of Arts and Culture in Bethlehem. Batrice’s main medium is painting; he also works with video and performance. His work focuses on the social construction of gender roles. Batrice exhibited his work at various student exhibitions as well as at Mahmoud Darwish Center in Nazareth in 2012. He was one of the finalists for the Ismail Shammout Award in Fine Art in 2015. He works as an art instructor for children and youth at various cultural centers in Nazareth and Galilee.
