I Will Survive
Sliman Mansour

Sliman Mansour‘s artwork titled I Will Survive is a powerful and poignant depiction of the resilience and determination of the Palestinian people amidst adversity. The painting portrays a Palestinian woman walking through a vast and barren desert landscape while carrying the Palestinian flag.

I Will Survive reflects the artist’s deep connection to the Palestinian struggle for freedom and self-determination. Through this evocative artwork, Mansour communicates a message of endurance and defiance in the face of challenges and oppression. The desert setting symbolizes the harsh and challenging conditions faced by the Palestinian people, yet the woman’s unwavering commitment to her cause and her heritage is evident in her steadfast walk forward.

The Palestinian flag that the woman carries becomes a potent symbol of identity, unity, and resistance, representing the unyielding spirit of a nation striving for autonomy and peace. Mansour’s use of colors and brushstrokes infuses the painting with a sense of emotional intensity and cultural pride, making I Will Survive an impactful and moving representation of the Palestinian narrative.
